No conformance level is claimed here, whether WCAG A, AA or AAA. Nobody who depends on a screen reader, a switch or magnification has tried this application, and four automated measurements are not an audit.
The four measurements, and how to replay them
Section titled “The four measurements, and how to replay them”What is measured is narrower, and you can replay it: four tools in the repository’s
tools/ directory walk every one of the 54 pages of a running instance and state facts.
One run of them, on 16 August 2026, with pnpm touch replayed on 19 October 2026:
| Command | What it walks on every page | What that run reported |
|---|---|---|
pnpm contrast |
every piece of text, every field border and every meaningful icon, against the colour actually painted behind it, on all twenty-four palettes | nothing under the WCAG AA floors |
pnpm keyboard |
2 753 stops reached with real Tab presses |
none without a focus indicator that changes pixels, and no trap |
pnpm a11y |
3 403 controls and images, read off the tree the browser hands to assistive technology | none without an accessible name |
pnpm touch |
7 876 tap targets, on a phone and on a tablet | none under the 36 px floor |
The twenty-four palettes are the twelve themes of Appearance, each in its light and its dark version.
The contrast run reports one case separately instead of counting it: text that clears its own surface and would not clear a colour its background image paints under it, which here is mostly the half-pixel dots of the paper texture.
Those four read a page at rest. Run again with OVERLAYS=1, they press the controls of
each page and ask the same four questions inside the 21 distinct panels a click opens,
dialogs and dropdowns included; that run reported nothing either. pnpm dialogs opens
those panels to ask whether focus goes in, stays in, leaves by a key and comes back.
tools/README.md describes
what each one measures, what it leaves out, and the measurement errors each has already paid
for.
Not covered by these four
Section titled “Not covered by these four”Magnification to 400 % and reflow, cognitive load, error prevention, plain language, and most of the criteria an audit reads. The application plays no audio and no video, so captions and transcripts do not apply here.
If something does not work
Section titled “If something does not work”If something does not work with your assistive technology, please open an issue; the bug template has an accessibility area, and Getting help says what makes a report actionable.
